Dear Customers and Patients of Punches Pharmacy Plus

We would like you to know how much we have valued the privilege to be your pharmacy of choice. We truly appreciate your support and loyalty to both our business and our family for over 40 years. The business of pharmacy has become increasingly more difficult in recent years with ever increasing mail order pharmacy, Medicare D and now the poor economy. These all played a part in a very agonizing decision that we finally came to and that was to sell our pharmacy business to Walgreens and close Punches Pharmacy Plus. Our customers and employees are more than acquaintances they are more like family and this has been a very difficult situation for all of us and our families.

On Friday, September 12, 2008 all your prescriptions will be available at Walgreens with the same friendly faces you have trusted for so long. We look forward to being able to continue to serve you with added services and benefits we couldn't bring to you before.

The rest of our business will continue to operate for a short period of time - probably into November. During this time, we will be preparing for the eventual permanent closing of Punches Pharmacy, Kool Beans, and Punches Party Store Plus. Details of the closing will be made as they are known.
